Characteristics

Terrestrial herb, geophyte with root tubers, up to 0.07 m high. Scape minutely and thinly hairy. Leaves 2, flat on ground, up to 15 mm wide, glabrous, not withering before flowering. Inflorescence a lax, hairy raceme; flowers secund, 3-6, green, petals and lip white. Sepals subequal, connivent; dorsal sepal 3 mm long. Petals lanceolate, 5 mm long. Lip obovate, shallowly notched 6-7 x 5-6 mm; spur 5-6 mm long. Flowering time Aug.-Oct.

Plants erect, scape without bracts, glabrous or with short fine hairs at right angles to the scape, 50-60 mm high; leaves glabrous. Flowers: Sepals glabrous, 1.5-3 x c. 0.5 mm. Petals entire, membranous, apices attenuate, 3-4.5 x 0.5-1.5 mm, white. Lip membranous, divided into many triangular lobes, 5.5-6.5 x 2.5-5.5 mm, white; spur straight, 3.5-6.5 mm long.
