Plants erect, scape with bracts, minutely pilose with short fine sinuous hairs, 170-420 mm high; leaves withered at anthesis, glabrous. Flowers: Sepals glabrous, 2.5-4.5 x 1.5-2 mm. Petals divided into 7-11 filamentous lobes, 6-13.5 x 2.8-5 mm, white. Lip divided into 8-15 hair-like lobes, 10-13.5 x 2.5-5.8 mm, white; spur curved to nearly circinnate, 3.5-8 mm long.
Terrestrial herb, up to 310 mm tall. Leaves up to 40 mm broad, hairless, withered at flowering time. Lip lobes filamentous. Flowers with white petals and lip.
Inflorescence 5–18 cm long, laxly 5–18-flowered, flowers secund; ovary 7–10 mm long, arched; bracts 6 × 2 mm, ovate.
Leaves 2, appressed to ground, up to 3 × 4 cm, reniform, glabrous, fleshy, usually withered at flowering time.
Petals white, 12.5–15 mm long, fimbriately divided to over halfway into 9–13 very slender, tapering lobes.
