Characteristics

Plants erect, scape without bracts, slightly to densely pilose with short fine hairs, 45-300 mm high; leaves glabrous, thick-fleshy. Flowers cream to yellow-green. Sepals glabrous, 1.5-3.5 x 1-2 mm. Petals entire, carnose at apices, adnate to lip at their bases, 2.5-7 x 0.5-2 mm. Lip divided into 5 subequal lobes, carnose, lobes linear, throat with a few papillae at entrance to spur, 3.5-8.5 x 1.5-4 mm; spur slightly curved, 1.5-4.5 mm long. Gynostemium cream and lime-green; anther theca reddish mauve.

Inflorescence lax, hairy raceme; flowers secund, many, sepals green, petals and lip white to pale green. Sepals subequal, connivent; dorsal sepal 3 mm long. Petals 5 mm long, cohering with base of lip. Lip 7-9 mm, deeply 5-lobed; spur 3 mm long. Flowering time Aug.-Oct.
