Characteristics

Shrub to 2 m tall; indumentum brown, ± appressed; lateral branchlets short, spinescent. Leaves alternate or appearing clustered, estipulate; petiole 0.5 mm long; lamina orbicular, ovate, narrow-obovate or oblong, 0.2–0.7 cm long, 0.9–2 mm wide, margin revolute, upper surface smooth, glabrous. Inflorescences solitary or of 2 flowers, sessile or peduncle to 1.2 mm long; pedicel 1.5–4 mm long, bract at or near base; bract and bracteoles oblong, c. 1 mm long. Calyx 4.5–5.5 mm long, tube 3–3.5 mm long, upper lip 3–4 mm wide. Standard 8–10 mm long, flare white, wing 2.9–3.7 mm wide. Pod glabrous, stipe c. 4 mm long. Aril of seed c. 2 mm long, slightly expanded distally, hilum c. 0.8 mm long.
