Characteristics

Subshrub to 0.6 m tall; indumentum light brown, the hairs somewhat spreading. Leaves: stipules 2–3 mm long; petiole 2–3 mm long; lamina narrow-elliptic or lanceolate, 2–6.3 cm long, 8–15 mm wide, margin recurved, upper surface ± smooth with scattered weak hairs. Inflorescences of 2 or 3 flowers, sessile; pedicel 1.5 mm long, bract inserted at base; bract and bracteoles narrow-ovate to lanceolate, 1.8–3.5 mm long. Calyx 5.5–6 mm long, tube 1.5–2.5 mm long, upper lip c. 2.5 mm wide. Standard 6–6.6 mm long, white, flare green; wing 2.2–2.8 mm wide. Pod densely hairy, sessile. Aril of seed 3–3.5 mm long, expanded distally, hilum c. 1.5 mm long.
