Characteristics

Subshrub, erect, sometimes trailing, to 1.2 m tall; indumentum brown and silvery or grey, all hairs ± straight and appressed. Leaves: stipules 1–2 mm long; petiole 2–3.5 mm long; lamina narrow-linear to linear, rarely elliptic-lorate, 3–11 cm long, 1.2–3.5 (–6) mm wide, margin recurved to revolute, upper surface ± smooth to slightly bullate, glabrous, lower surface appressed-pubescent. Inflorescences mostly of 2 flowers, sessile; pedicel 1–2.5 mm long, bract inserted at or near base; bract and bracteoles narrow-ovate to lanceolate, 1.5–2.5 mm long. Calyx 4–6.5 mm long, tube 2–3 mm long, upper lip 4–5 mm wide. Standard 7–10 mm long, flare green-yellow; wing 2.5–3.5 mm wide. Pod glabrous (except for suture), sessile. Aril of seed 3–3.5 mm long, slightly expanded distally, hilum c. 2 mm long.
