Characteristics

Shrub to 1.8 m tall; indumentum grey-brown, hairs appressed to divergent. Leaves: stipules 2–5.5 mm long; subsessile or petiole to c. 0.5 mm long; lamina lorate-elliptic, lanceolate or linear, 0.5–3 cm long, 1–3 (–4) mm wide, pungent-pointed, margin strongly revolute, upper surface ± smooth, glabrous. Inflorescences of 1–3 flowers, sessile or short-pedunculate; pedicel 3–9 mm long, bract inserted at base, falling early; bract and bracteoles subulate, 1.5–3.5 mm long. Calyx 5.8–6.9 mm long, tube 2–3.5 mm long, upper lip 5–6 mm wide. Standard 12–16.8 mm long, flare white, wing 3.5–6.2 mm wide. Pod glabrous, stipe 5–6 mm long. Aril of seed c. 2 mm long, slightly expanded distally, hilum 0.8–1 mm long.
