Characteristics

Shrub to 1.5 m tall; indumentum brown to grey, the hairs curled to straightish, appressed to divergent. Leaves: stipules 0.5–1.2 mm long; petiole 1–2 mm long; lamina lorate to linear, 1–3 (–4) cm long, 1.2–3 (–4) mm wide, margin revolute, upper surface with strongly raised veins, glabrous or with scattered hairs, lower surface covered by close cream to brown indumentum, greying with age. Inflorescences mostly of 2 flowers, sessile; pedicel 0.5–2 mm long, bract inserted 0.5–1 mm distal to base; bract and bracteoles ovate, narrow-ovate or lanceolate, 0.8–2 mm long. Calyx 3–4 mm long, tube 2–2.4 mm long, upper lip c. 2 mm wide. Standard 5–7 mm long, flare yellow; wing 1.5–2.2 mm wide. Pod moderately hairy, sessile. Aril of seed 3 mm long, not expanded distally, hilum c. 2 mm long.
