Characteristics

Plants erect, 150-400 mm tall; leaves distant, not petiolate, lower with a patent, slightly cordate, elliptic, obtuse to acute and finely mucronate blade, 60-120 x 45-70 mm, upper smaller. Inflorescences laxly 6-20-flowered, 60-100 mm long; bracts narrowly lanceolate, acuminate, somewhat shorter than the ovary. Flowers c. 15 mm in diªameter, sepals lime-green, petals pale mauve. Seªpals subequal, reflexed, margins entire; median 5-6 x 2.5-3 mm; laterals lanceolate, acute, 7x4 mm. Petals spathulate, claws cylindrical, 5-7 mm long, blades transversely obovate, shallowly cal-carate, margins fimbriate, 6-7 mm in diameter. Lip pendent, transversely ovate, margins fimbriªate, 4-5 x 7-10 mm. Gynostemium erect; anther thecae diverging towards the base, 4 mm long; stigma bipulvinate.
