Characteristics

Bushy epiphyte, with a swollen base and with runners attached by haustoria at intervals along host branch. Leaves with petiole slightly winged, 5–10 mm long; lamina broadly elliptic or slightly ovate or obovate, 3–6 cm long, 1.5–4 cm wide, attenuate onto petiole, obtuse to rounded at apex. Inflorescences axillary, solitary or paired, 1–1.5 cm long, with c. 9 or 12 flowers arranged in threes. Calyx an obscure rim c. 0.2 mm high. Petals narrowly lanceolate, c. 3 mm long, greenish. Style coiled in middle, c. 3 mm long when uncoiled. Fruit ellipsoidal-globular, 5–8 mm long, translucent, yellow.
