Glabrous, tuberous rooted, perennial to 1 m. tall.. Leaves spirally arranged; petiole (0.4–)1–4.2 cm. long; lamina ovate to elliptic, 7.5–12 cm. long, 3.3–5.5 cm. broad, the base shortly attenuate, the apex shortly acuminate; lateral veins 6–7 pairs; margin crenate-serrate, the teeth 2–5 mm. apart.. Inflorescence a 2–4-flowered raceme; flowers basically white, the petals veined and dotted all over with pink and the spur orange or reddish brown towards the tip.. Peduncle 11–14 cm. long, erect.. Bracts oblong, 5–6 mm. long, shortly acuminate.. Pedicels 2–2.7 cm. long, slender, Lateral sepals 4 (2 pairs), the lower pair linear-oblong, 6–7 mm. long, the lower pair ovate or oblong, ± 8 mm. long, obtuse.. Lower sepal narrowly buciniform, 14–15 mm. long, gradually tapering into a 42–45 mm. long curved spur, ± 10 mm. in diameter near the base, ± 1 mm. diameter at the tip.. Dorsal petal 13–15 mm. long, 14–16 mm. broad, shallowly cucullate.. Lateral united petals 22–27 mm. long; upper petal of each pair oblong, 10–11 mm. long, 4–5 mm. broad, the lower asymmetrically obovate, 23–25 mm. long, 14–20 mm. broad, with a slight emargination along the inner margin towards the top..
