Low creeping perennial; stems prostrate, rooting at the lower nodes and with procumbent to erect flowering shoots 10–15 cm. tall, glabrous.. Leaves spirally arranged; petiole 4–23 mm. long, slender, glabrous; lamina ovate to ovate-deltoid, 9–33 mm. long, 8–24 mm. broad, the base subtruncate, the apex acuminate, acute, glabrous or with a few hairs on the midrib and lateral veins above; lateral veins 3–5 pairs; margin crenate-dentate.. Inflorescence a 1–3(–4)-flowered subumbellate-raceme; flowers pink with a whitish spur and with white and yellow markings at the base of the lateral united petals.. Peduncle 12–25 mm. long, slender, glabrous, suberect.. Bracts linear-lanceolate, 2–2.5 mm. long, acute, generally 1–several more than the number of flowers in the inflorescence..
