Erect or spreading annual, branching from the base, up to 80 cm. tall from a taproot; branches more or less densely pubescent or pilose.. Stipules linear, pilose, ± 4 mm. long; rhachis pilose, up to 2 cm. long including a petiole rarely, except for first leaves in young plants, exceeding 1 mm., prolonged 1–2 mm. beyond the lateral leaflets; leaflets 5–11, narrowly oblong or oblanceolate, usually acute, rarely over 10 mm. long and 3 mm. wide, appressed pilose above, strigose beneath.. Raceme 2–4-flowered; peduncle almost glabrous, 8–30 mm. long; bracts filiform, 1–2 mm. long, very caducous; pedicels pilose, 1 mm. long.. Calyx pilose, 2–3 mm. long, divided below the middle into filiform lobes.. Corolla pubescent outside.. Stamens ± 4 mm. long..
