Robust, suberect to sprawling, resprouting, woody herb or shrub, up to 1 m tall. Leaves pinnately 3-foliolate, leaflets elliptic-oblong or obovate, thinly hairy. Flowers in long-pedunculate racemes, pink, magenta or rose, calyx shorter than stamens, lobes triangular to broadly linear-lanceolate, ± equal to or twice as long as tube, standard glabrous on back, keel apex beak-like.
