Leaves 4-11-foliolate, (15) 30-60 mm long, with terminal leaflet (9)10-30 x 3-16 mm, stipules subulate 3-6 mm long, leaflets elliptic, apex acute to obtuse, upper surface frequently greenish yellow-strigose. Flowers purplish red, stamens ± equal to or exceeding calyx.
