Leaves pilose throughout; stipules narrowly lanceolate, gland-tipped, 3–4 mm. long; petiole 10–15 mm. long, with 2 glands on stalks ± 0.7 mm. long on its lower part; rhachis prolonged 5–6 mm. beyond lateral leaflets; leaflets usually 3, occasionally 1 or 5, elliptical-orbicular, the terminal larger than the lateral, up to 20 mm. long and 16 mm. wide.. Normal racemes 10–12-flowered, up to 12 mm. long including a peduncle of up to 6 mm.; additional much reduced, sessile, 1–2-flowered abortive racemes in the axils of the lowest leaves on each shoot; bracts linear, up to 2 mm. long, gland-tipped; pedicels ± 0.8 mm. long.. Calyx pilose, 2.5 mm. long; lobes narrowly triangular, ± 2 mm. long, gland-tipped.. Corolla pubescent outside.. Stamens ± 2 mm. long.. Ovary pilose, 4-or more ovulate.. Pod 7–13 mm. long, 2 mm. wide, pubescent; endocarp spotted.. Seeds 3–5, pitted.
