Brchs. seen 15-30 cm. l. or h., 1.5-2 mm. thick below, angular, subcanesc. on young parts, with appressed centrally-fixed hairs; lvs. 1-2 cm. l., with black or brown gland-tufts in their axils; lfts. 3-5, narrowly oblong, folded, slightly hooked-apiculate at the apex, cuneate at the base, 5-10 x 2-3 mm., appressed-pubesc. on both surfaces. Racemes 2-15 cm. l. when fully developed, twice or more than twice as long as the lvs., appressed whitish-pubesc, pedicel 1 mm. l. or less; cor. 4-5 mm. l., standard whitish-pubesc. on the back; pods 5-7 mm. l., 3 mm. thick, turgid, with a white appressed pubescence.
