Stems (or possibly branches from a shrub) over 40 cm long, slender, 1-2 mm thick, probably erect, more or less branching, slightly angular when young, becoming terete and smooth, adpressed-pubescent with minute whitish centrally fixed hairs, green, becoming greyish or brown with age. Leaves 2 x 5-4 cm long; leaflets 5-9, the lateral opposite in 2-3 pairs, 8-15 mm long, 2-4 mm broad, flat, oblong or oblong-lanceolate, obtuse, apiculate, thinly adpressed-pubescent and equally green on both surfaces. Racemes 6-10 cm long, 2-3 times as long as the leaves, very slender, laxly several-flowered, with the peduncle below the lowest scar of fallen flowers 2-3 x 5 cm long and shorter than the leaf but longer than the petiolar axis. Pedicels 2 x 5-4 mm long. Calyx about 1 x 5 mm long, with deltoid lobes 0.5-1 mm long. Corolla 5-6 mm long, pink, obtuse in bud; standard adpressed-pubescent with brown hairs on the back. Pods 20-22 mm long, straight, spreading or slightly drooping, brown, adpressed-pubescent.
