A branching wiry shrublet or woody annual up to 0.5 m. tall, softly pubescent throughout but hairs rather stiffer and more appressed on upper leaf-surface.. Stipules filiform, 2–3 mm. long; rhachis prolonged 1–2 mm. beyond the leaflets, in all up to 8 mm. long including a petiole of 1–2 mm.; leaflets 3–5, narrowly cuneate, apiculate, up to 12 mm. long and 3 mm. wide.. Racemes 2–6-flowered, up to 1 cm. long including a peduncle of ± 2 mm.; bracts subfiliform, ± 1.5 mm. long, persistent; pedicels erect, 1 mm. long.. Calyx ± 2 mm. long, divided for three-quarters of its length into triangular lobes with filiform tips.. Corolla 5 mm. long, puberulent outside.. Stamens (in Flora area) 4.5 mm. long.. Pod straight, erect, subtetragonal, ± 12 mm. long, 1.4 mm. wide, 1.8 mm. thick, pubescent, ± 8-seeded; endocarp not spotted.
