Leaves 1-foliolate; stipules ± 1 mm. wide at the base, up to 1 cm. long, hispid; petiole up to 8 mm. long, jointed ± 1 mm. below the top, with a pair of thread-like stipellae at the joint; blade ovate-oblong or oblong-elliptic, up to 7 cm. long and 2.6 cm. wide, broadly cuneate at the base, ± rounded at the apex, stiffly white pubescent on both surfaces; midrib and 8–9 lateral nerves prominent and fulvous-hispid beneath.. Raceme many-flowered, fulvous-hispid, shorter than the subtending leaf, up to 3 cm. long, including a peduncle of up to 6 mm.; bracts caducous, narrowly lanceolate, up to 5 mm. long; pedicels 1–1.5 mm. long, spreading in fruit..
