Spreading annual, somewhat woody at the base; stems dark reddish, very sparsely appressed strigulose.. Stipules triangular, ± 1 mm. long; rhachis dark reddish, sparingly strigulose, up to 25 mm. long, including a petiole of up to 5 mm., prolonged 2–4 mm. beyond lateral leaflets; leaflets 5–9, cuneate, elliptic-oblong, emarginate and apiculate at the apex, up to 9 mm. long and 3 mm. wide, glabrous above and finely strigulose beneath.. Racemes laxly 10–15-flowered, sparingly strigulose, up to 5 cm. long including a peduncle of up to 2 cm.; bracts oblong, acute, ± 1 mm. long, very caducous; pedicels up to 1.5 mm. long, erect or spreading in fruit.. Calyx ± 1.5 mm. long; lobes triangular, as long as the tube.. Corolla strigulose outside.. Stamens 3–4 mm. long.. Pod blackish, rather torulose, 10–18 mm. long, 1.5–2 mm. wide, ± 2.3 mm. thick; endocarp not spotted.. Seeds 5–8, not pitted.
