Stems or brchs. 15-40 cm l., 1 mm thick, simple or sparingly brchd., terete, the young parts canesc. with minute appressed white pubeseence : lvs. 2-3 cm l. with 3-5 lfts., the lateral opposite, 10-15 x 3-6 mm, oblong or cuneately oblong, rounded at the apex, glab. above, minutely and thinly appressed-pubesc. beneath : racemes 1.5-4 cm l., mostly longer than the lvs., but with the lowest scar of fallen fls. shorter than the petiolar axis; pedicel 0-5 mm l. : cal. 2 mm l. : cor. 3 mm 1., apparently red or purple : pods ±6 x 3 mm, flat, 2-seedod, dull red.
