Bushy herb up to 1.3 m. tall, with white appressed hairs throughout.. Stipules narrow, spreading or reflexed, ± 2 mm. long; leaf-rhachis up to 4 cm. long, including a petiole of 3–6 mm., prolonged up to 2 mm. beyond the lateral leaflets; leaflets 5–11, oblong, wedge-shaped at the base, up to 12 mm. long and 5 mm. wide.. Racemes pubescent, 12–25-flowered, 1.5–3.5 cm. long, including a peduncle of 5–9 mm.. Pedicels 1 mm. long, spreading or somewhat reflexed in fruit.. Calyx 1.5 mm. long, divided to the middle.. Filaments 6 mm. long.. Style 1.3 mm. long.. Pod ridged down each side, up to 25 mm. long, ± 2 mm. wide and 1.3 mm. thick, with sparse appressed hairs, 11–13-seeded; endocarp spotted.. Seeds oblong, ridged on each side, faintly pitted, ± 1.5 mm. long, 1 mm. wide, 0.7 mm. thick.
