Characteristics

Densely many-stemmed, prostrate to decumbent dwarf or scrambling shrub, up to 1 m tall, stems angular, ridged, ± densely greyish strigose, with appressed equally 2-branched hairs. Leaves digitately 3-foliolate, leaflets obcordate, obovate to elliptic, sometimes conduplicate. Flowers in short-to long-pedunculate racemes, pink to purple, calyx densely greyish strigose, shorter than stamens, lobes triangular to lanceolate, ± equal to or twice as long as tube, standard with scattered appressed hairs on back, keel apex acute to apiculate.
