Semi-woody branching herb up to 1.5 m. tall, everywhere densely silvery with short (0.2–0.3 mm.) strictly appressed hairs.. Stipules triangular, ± 1 mm. long; rhachis up to 2.5 cm. long, including the 3–4 mm. petiole, prolonged 1–2 mm. beyond the lateral leaflets; leaflets 5–11 (rarely–13), narrowly cuneate-oblong, apiculate, the terminal rather larger than the lateral, up to 17 mm. long and 3 mm. wide.. Raceme 6–20-flowered, up to 12 or rarely 20 mm. long, including a peduncle of 1–3 mm.; bracts triangular, 1 mm. long, very caducous; pedicels 1 mm. long, erect.. Calyx ± 2 mm. long, divided to about the middle; lobes triangular, with subulate tips.. Corolla densely silvery outside, ± 3 mm. long.. Stamens 2.5 mm. long.. Fruit erect, ± 4.5 mm. long, 2.3 mm. wide and 2 mm. thick, 2-or less often 1-seeded; endocarp spotted.
