Erect slender annual up to 0.3 m. tall.. Stems and leaf-rhachides with rather sparse stiff appressed biramous hairs and in addition a few very short erect glandular hairs.. Stipules linear, ± 1 mm. long; rhachis, including a petiole of up to 8 mm., up to 25 mm. long, prolonged ± 1 mm. beyond the lateral leaflets; leaflets 3–17, oblong-lanceolate, up to 10 mm. long and 2.5 mm. wide, strigose beneath, strigulose above.. Racemes 3–10-flowered, up to 3 cm. long including a peduncle of 4–7 mm.; pedicels ± 1 mm. long, erect or slightly spreading in fruit.. Calyx strigose; tube 0.7 mm. long; lobes subulate, ± 1.7 mm. long.. Filaments 2–2.3 mm. long.. Style 1–1.3 mm. long.. Pod straight, erect or spreading, 10–15 mm. long, ± 2 mm. wide and 1.3 mm. thick, densely covered with short stiff appressed hairs, 6–9-seeded; endocarp rather faintly spotted.
