Stipules narrowly linear-lanceolate, green, usually reflexed, up to 5 mm. long; leaf-rhachis up to 35 mm. long including a petiole of 0.5–10 mm., usually prolonged 0.5–5 mm. beyond the lateral leaflets; leaflets 3–11, elliptic or oblanceolate, up to 15 mm. long and 9 mm. wide, sparsely appressed strigulose on both surfaces.. Racemes often produced in the axils of reduced leaves near the base of the shoots, 2–15 times as long as the rhachis of the subtending leaf; bracts caducous; pedicels spreading..
