Suffruticosa glabrescens; rami graciles adseendentes foliati subgeniculato-flexuosi; stipulae subulatae minimae deciduae; folia petiolata imparipinnata 1-2-juga, 5-6.7 cm. longa, petiolo communi gracili, foliolis late ovatis sursum longe angustatis subobtusis mucronulatis glabre-scentibus, terminali ad 4 cm. longo, 2.2 cm. lato, lateralibus minoribus, petiolulis (cum petiolis) basi verrucoso-glandulosis; racemi axillares laxe pluriflori, foliis plerique breviores rarius longiores, pedunculo gracillimo, bracteis minimis persistentibus, pedicellis capillaribus 3 mill. longis, floribus 5 mill. longis; calyx turbinatus pubescens 5-nervus dentibus deltoideis obtusis; vexillum suborbiculare cum alis carinaque aequilongis tenuiter pubescens; ovarium 3-ovulatum; legumen erectum subcompressum marginatum glabrum 4-5 cm. longum.

Spindly shrub to small tree, 1-4(5) m high; branches greyish brown to glossy pale cream-coloured, often ± horizontal, slender, flexuous, ± geniculate; glabrous. Stipules 0.5-1.5 mm long, ± triangular. Leaves 3-5-foliolate, rachis terete, 11-55 mm long; petioles 5-16 mm. Terminal leaflet largest, 19-74 x (8)9-33 mm, ovate-acuminate, membranous, both surfaces sparsely strigose, lower surface distinctly paler than above. Inflorescences of (0.8)1.0-9.0 mm long, ± laxly 8-35(60)-flowered racemes; peduncle 2-20(35) mm long; pedicels (2.0)2.5-4.0(5.0) mm long. Flowers 4-5 mm long, white; calyx 1.0-1.8 mm long, 5-lobed, lobes triangular, to ± 1/3 of tube length; standard dorsal surface white puberulent, keel apex obtuse. Stamens 3.5-4.5 mm long. Flowering time Oct.-Mar. Pod 20-45 x 2.5-3.5 mm.
