Softly woody shrub up to 1.3 m. tall; branches cylindrical, brown, almost glabrous.. Stipules subulate, ± 2 mm. long; stipellae subulate, 1.5 mm. long; rhachis almost glabrous, up to 7 cm. long, including a petiole of 12–17 mm., prolonged 7–12 mm. beyond the lateral leaflets; petiolules up to 2.5 mm. long; leaflets 5–9, obovate or almost orbicular, broadly cuneate at the base, emarginate and apiculate at the apex, up to 18 mm. long and 14 mm. wide, glabrous above, finely strigulose beneath.. Raceme almost glabrous, many-flowered, up to 14 cm. long, including a peduncle of 1.5–3 cm.; bracts narrowly triangular, up to 1.5 mm. long, caducous; pedicels strigulose, up to 3 mm. long in flower, spreading or subreflexed and up to 4 mm. long in fruit.. Calyx strigulose, ± 2 mm. long; lobes broadly triangular, shorter than the tube.. Corolla strigulose outside.. Stamens 13–15 mm. long.. Pod almost 6 cm. long, ± 4 mm. wide and 2 mm. thick.. Seeds 10–11, well separated.
