Erect, stems or brchs. up to 40-50 cm l., 1.5 mm thick, subangular, thinly appressed-pubesc. with centrally fixed hairs, brown : lvs. 2-5-4 cm l.; lfts. 5-11, opp. flat, 6-16 x 3-7 mm, elliptic, rounded at apex, thinly appressed-pubesc. on both surfaces : racemes 7-15 cm l. and 2-4 times as long as the lvs., slender, with the part below the lowest scar of fallen fls. longer than the lvs.; fls. as they open rather lax; pedicel 2-4 mm l.; cal.-lobes scarcely 1 mm. l. cor. about 5 mm l.; standard appressed-pubesc. on the back with dark brown hairs; pods 18-30 mm l., terete, thinly appressed-pubesc, dark brown.
