Characteristics

Reseeding shrublets, up to 800 mm high; stems woody, rigid, the many long-branches ascending-erect, ± closely parallel, sparsely appressed strigillose. Stipules 1-2 mm long, subulate, erect. Leaves (3-)5-foliolate, sparsely to densely fascicled on stems, spreading. Terminal leaflet ericoid, 5-30 x 0.5-2.0 mm, linear, glossy foveolate-subrugulate above, densely canescent strigillose below, margins strongly revolute, apex acute. Inflorescences of 5-20 mm long, 2-7-flowered racemes; peduncle 1-6 mm long; pedicels 2-6 mm long; plants mass-flowering. Flowers 6-8 mm long, pink to mauve, petals semi-persistent; calyx (2.5)3.0-4.0(5.0) mm long, grey strigillose-puberulent; lobes triangular, ± equalling to twice tube length; standard subsericeous dorsally; keel apex ± acute. More
Shrubby, erect, densely much branched; branches angularly furrowed, thinly strigillose; leaves subsessile, digitately 5-foliolate; leaflets linear, acute, furrowed above, with revolute margins and strong midrib, minutely strigillose, subcanescent beneath; stipules minute, tooth-like; racemes subsessile, shorter than the leaves, loosely pluri-flowered; bracts minute, persistent; calyx canescent, its lobes broadly subulate; petals subglabrous or puberulent; legumes terete, several-seeded, glabrous.
Erect, rigid shrublet to 80 cm, mass flowering, branches furrowed. Leaves subdigitately (3-)5-foliolate, subsessile; leaflets linear, minutely hairy, midrib prominent below, margins strongly revolute. Flowers in racemes on peduncles shorter than leaves, subsessile, mauve, petals semipersistent but not to fruiting stage, back of standard petal mostly hairy along midrib. Pods glabrous, spreading.
