Raceme (4)5-15(25) cm long, usually many times longer than leaves, sparsely to densely 20-60-flowered; peduncle of 2-6 cm; bracts 0.5-2.5 mm long, triangular-lanceolate to subulate, falling early; pedicels 2-5 mm long. Calyx 1-2.5(3) mm long, densely appressed strigose with ferrugineous, dark brown or whitish hairs; lobes triangular to lanceolate, shorter than or up to twice as long as tube. Corolla 5-6.5 mm long, back of standard densely strigose with ferrugineous, dark brown or whitish hairs. Stamens 4.5-6 mm long. Style 1.5-2 mm long, curving erect before middle, erect portion c. 1 mm long. Pod 20-32 x 1.6-2 mm, cylindrical, flattened, spreading to erect, sparsely to densely strigose with whitish and sometimes brown hairs, apex with persistent forward-pointing beak; endocarp densely spotted with tannin deposits.
