Erect subshrub covered with yellow hairs or glabrescent.. Leaf-blade ovate, 10–11 cm. long, 6–7 cm. wide, acuminate or cuspidate at the apex, narrowed but obtuse at the base; petiole 4 cm. long.. Inflorescences about 10-flowered, cymose; peduncle up to 9 cm. long.. Sepals subequal, herbaceous, “ subulate ” (linear-oblong ?), 8–10 mm. long and 1.5–2 mm. wide, hairy on backs.. Corolla violet, narrowly funnel-shaped with rather cylindrical tube, 5 cm. long, hirsute in bud.. Capsule not known.
