Leaf-lamina ovate in outline, 2·4–7·5 × 2·4–6·5 cm., acute, widely cordate at the base, margins with 2 or 3 deltoid acute or subacute lobes on each side of basal half, the whole leaf appearing more or less 5 (7)-lobed, thin, very sparsely pubescent on both surfaces; petiole up to 5 cm. long, very slender.
Flowers solitary or in 2-flowered cymes; peduncle 6–10 mm. long, slender; pedicels 5–12 mm. long, stouter than the peduncle; bracteoles minute, lanceolate.
Sepals spathulate, more or less 7 mm. long, 3-nerved, with apical part ovate, apiculate, herbaceous, and the basal part linear-oblong, subcoriaceous.
Corolla almost salver-shaped, white, 2·5 cm. long, lobes subacute, glabrous.
Seeds brownish, densely pubescent with long hairs at the edges.
Stems long, twining, slender, diffuse, obscurely pubescent.
Capsule globose, coriaceous, glabrous.
Annual herb branched near the base.
