Inflorescence an umbel-like cyme of more or less 6 flowers clustered; peduncle up to 2 cm. long, often much shorter, pubescent; pedicels 6 mm. long, pubescent; bracts linear-oblong, rounded at the apex, 3 mm. long, more or less 3-nerved, pubescent.
Leaf lamina obovate or spathulate up to 7 × 6 cm., pubescent, with apical part elliptic to orbicular up to 5 × 6 cm., acute at the apex, obscurely crenulate and a basal part narrowly cuneate, 2 × 0·7–1·5 cm.; petiole about 1 cm. long.
Sepals linear-oblong, 5·5–9 mm. long, emarginate, conspicuously 3-nerved, shortly pubescent.
Capsule elongate-ovoid tipped by the persistent style, coriaceous, slightly pubescent.
Seeds black, somewhat obscurely tuberculate, sparsely pubescent with long hairs.
Corolla trumpet-shaped, white, 2 cm. long, with narrow tube.
Ovary elongate-conic, shortly pubescent.
Stems erect or decumbent, pubescent.
