Characteristics

A shrub or small tree. It grows to 2-4 m high. It is grey-green. The stems have fine hairs. The flattened stems which look like leaves have fine hairs on both sides. They can be 4-12 cm long by 0.6-2 cm wide. They are grey-green. The edges are slightly toothed. The flowers are small and yellow, pea-like flowers. They are 0.6 cm long by 1 cm wide. They occur as several together in dense clusters near the ends of branches. The fruit are small capsules. These are 0.5-0.7 cm long. They have a single seed.
