Vines; stems herbaceous, sprawling or twining, pubescent. Leaves ovate-lanceolate, 1-3 cm long and 0.5-1 cm wide, basally rounded to obtuse, apically acute to attenuate, stellate-pubescent. Inflorescences axillary umbellate cymes, 2-6 flowers per inflorescence, pubescent. Flowers with the sepals attenuate-ellip-tic to lanceolate, 4-7 mm long and 1-2 mm wide, mostly attenuate, pubescent; corollas blue, 0.4-1 cm long, interplicae glabrous; stamens unequal, the filaments basally glabrous. Fruits capsular, globose, 3-4 mm in diameter, light brown, glabrous; seeds red-brown, 2 mm long, glabrous.
