Characteristics

Whole plant finely pubescent. Leaves 6.3-28 cm long, 1-3 mm wide. Scape 5.5-14.5 cm long; awned bract 11-70 mm long; floral bracts ovate-lanceolate, acute, 16-19 mm long, white or with a central pink stripe or flushed pink, with finely ciliate margin; empty bracts 4-15 mm long; bracteoles absent. Perianth c. 5 mm long, connate for c. 1 mm, white or pink; sepals wider than petals. Anthers c. 3.5 mm long. Style c. 4 mm long. Capsule 4-5 mm long.
