Native selection found in 1928 on the Boellner family homestead near Eldorado, Kan. Introd. by Louis B. Boellner of Roswell, N.M. Plant patent 1063; approved 1 Jan. 1952; assigned to Stark Bros. Nurseries & Orchards Co., Louisiana, Mo. Medium-sized, elliptic nut weighs 17 g and yields 31% kernel. Shell pointed on both ends.
