Characteristics

Densely tufted shrublet, 0.2-0.4 m high. Leaves densely to sparsely puberulous, linear-lanceolate, ±22.0 x 1.5 mm, apex acute, base tapering, often greyish, sessile. Inflorescence terminal, an aggregate of sessile cymes reduced to a single flower each. Bract 1 with one on opposite side of axis. Bracteoles 2, puberulous, linear-lanceolate, 4-7 mm long, acute. Corolla 7-8 mm long, white marked with mauve. Pollen 3-colporate, 37-45 µm long, sexine with entire margocolpus. Capsule 4-seeded, clavate, ±10 mm long.
