Characteristics

Leaves petiolate; lamina at least in the median leaves, irregularly incised-lobed to 3-lobed, cuneate at the base, sparsely hairy, flat, fleshy, membranous and pale green to yellowish on drying; petiole narrow, broadened at the base, not connate with the opposite one; nodes somewhat raised.

Corolla 17·5-19 mm. long, orange or yellow; corolla-tube dilated at the base, very contracted just above the follicles, then narrowly cylindric-tubular; corolla-lobes 5-5·5 x 2·75-3 mm., rather apiculate.
Calyx 6-7·5 mm. long, rounded at the base, densely and shortly glandular-hairy; tube 2·5-3·5 mm. long; sepals 2·5-3·5 mm. broad at base, ovate-lanceolate, acute, not or shortly apiculate.
