Leaves petiolate; blade oblong or ovate, up to 20 cm. long, 16 cm. wide, apex obtuse, base truncate or auriculate, margins crenate, bluntly serrate or dentate, subsinuate towards the apex, glaucous or glaucescent; petiole 2–6 cm. long, flattened and grooved above, slightly broadened at the base.. Inflorescence a racemose cyme, up to 20 cm. or more long; pedicels 5–7(–12) mm. long.. Calyx-lobes triangular-subulate, 7–11 mm. long, 1.5–2.5 mm. wide, attenuated, connate at the base for 0.5–1(–2) mm.. Corolla ivory white, greenish white on the lower part of the tube; tube 27–33(–38) mm. long; lobes obovate, 10–16 mm. long, 5–8 mm. wide, mucronate (mucro 0.5–1 mm. long)..
