Characteristics

Leaf-lamina 2–4·5 × 1·8–5 cm., ovate to broadly ovate in outline, cordate, ± sinuate-denticulate, shortly and finely hispid, sometimes densely, unlobed or incipiently palmately 3–5-lobed, lobes triangular, obtuse to acute, shortly acuminate, apiculate.

Seeds 5·5–5·8 × 3–3·5 × 2·2–2·4 mm., asymmetrically ovate in outline, slightly verrucose, rounded at the base, compressed and slightly emarginate at the apex.
Fruit 16–20 × 7–10 mm., subsessile, ovoid, rostrate, shortly and densely hispid, red; pedicel 2–2·5 mm. long.
Stems to 6 m., prostrate or scandent, very sparsely shortly crispate-pubescent.
Petioles 0·8–1·2 cm. long, rather sparsely shortly finely ascending-hispid.
