Leaf-lamina 4–10 (15) × 0·4–1·5 (2·5) cm., narrowly ovate to lanceolate becoming linear-oblong to narrowly linear towards the apices of the stems, densely stellate-pubescent, apex rather blunt, margin serrate, base cuneate to obtuse; petiole 8–30 mm. long; stipules 3–10 mm. long, filiform, caducous.
