Prostrate to stilted spreading herb to 10 cm tall. Leaves spreading or decurved, acute, 4-51 mm long; sheath scarious, 2.5-11 mm long. Inflorescence 7-11-flowered; peduncle erect, 17-85 mm long; outer bracts 4-8, oblong-ovate, 2-4 mm long, pink-brown; inner bracts 2-4 mm long, irregularly fringed, white. Flowers white aging pink, or pink. Sepals 3-4 mm long. Petals 3-5 mm long, loosely tubular with recurved obtuse apices. Stamens 2-4 mm long. Ovules 9.
