Inflorescence 4-17-flowered, erect; outer bracts 4-7, oblong-ovate, acute, 1-3 mm long, red-brown; inner bracts 1-3 mm long, white, with divided margins. Flowers pink, ?rarely white. Sepals 4-6 mm long. Petals 5-8 mm long. Ovules 9-12.
