Perennial, glaucous, ascending, suffrutex, 0.15-0.30(-0.80) m high; many-stemmed, erect, ends of branches ascending. Leaves simple, acicular, 3-6 per 10 mm length of stem, articulated near middle, mucronulate. Inflorescences elongate, densely many-flowered, terminal racemes. Flowers small, bright yellow. Calyx: teeth shorter than tube, deltoid. Flowering time July-Nov. Pod deflexed, linear, straight or very slightly falcate, subcompressed, semi-terete, acute at each end.
Like L. ambigua but inflorescences short and congested, calyx tube > lobes.
