Inflorescence a lax to dense raceme; pedicels erect to ascending; bracts up to 3 mm., sometimes emarginate to 2-partite. Perianth-segments free or united at the base, reflexed, greenish to purple. Filaments united with the perianth-segments for 0.5-2 mm.. Ovary stipitate and conical or obconical, 3-locular, with 2 ovules per locule. Capsule ovoid to subglobose, sometimes a schizocarp. Seeds black, subglobose.
