Characteristics

Slender, ascending, much branched, nearly or quite glabrous; stipule solitary, falcate; leaves on very long petioles, 5-foliolate, leaflets linear or linear lanceolate, acute, very narrow, complicate; racemes opposite the leaves and terminal, laxly 3-4 flowered; calyx narrow, acute at base, the upper segments lanceolate, sub-connate, the lower subulate; legume falcate, glabrous.

Prostrate shrublet, up to 1.4 m across, woody basally. Leaves mainly 5-foliolate, ± glabrous, leaflets linear. Flowers 1-4, in short congested racemes, yellow, calyx lobes long, narrow, upper and lateral pairs fused high up, minutely hairy to densely silky, back of standard sometimes minutely hairy on midrib. Pod stalked, linear, distinctly falcate, compressed.
