Characteristics

Perennial, erect or diffuse herb, 0.1-0.8 m high. Leaves 40-60 mm long. Leaflets 2.5-8.0 x 2-3 mm, 6-10-jugate, oblong-obovate or linear-oblong, obtuse or emarginate, thinly strigose on one or both sides. Stipules 2-3 mm long. Inflorescence 10-flowered, shortly racemose near top; peduncles 35-50 mm long, longer or shorter than the leaf; bracts 1 mm long, triangular, sparsely strigose. Pedicels up to 2 mm long. Flowers 9 mm long. Calyx up to 4 mm long. Gynoecium: ovary hairy; style hairy nearly halfway and also around stigma. Flowering time all year. Pod 40-52 x 4-6 mm, linear, compressed, obtuse, mucronate, arched in a semi-circle or ± completely annular.
